Bodd Boutique was created in 2019 by boss babe Kia Carson. It was originated from the word Body which may be obvious to most but to some not so much. I wanted to put emphasis on the female body because sometimes we as women don’t know our own strength and what we truly possess.
For me growing up I was SUPER insecure as every young teenage girl is. I focused on my imperfections instead of my perfections. I was too skinny, too awkward looking, and had no ass which hey look if you grew up in Atlanta you would know why this was/is such a flaw. Anyways through all this self-doubt and uncertainty one thing made me feel beautiful and that was clothing.

Clothes became the way I expressed myself and felt confident. Obviously now I have come to love the skin I’m in (and no man or woman can tell me anything TUH) but it wasn’t an easy journey and through that journey I had clothing, shoes, and style to make me feel like that strong beautiful black woman I knew I was.
This is what i want to share with women of all ages, colors, shapes, and sizes. I want all women to feel what I feel when I have on THE outfit that I just know is BOMB.
To feel confident.
To feel beautiful.
To me that is everything and us women, we deserve EVERYTHING…. and more 🙂
